During the development of Highway Safety Schemes we consult with local residents, and other interested parties, to explain the reasons for the scheme and its design. This consultation gives you an opportunity to contribute relevant information that may affect the final design of the scheme.
Notices about the scheme are delivered to residents who live on the road near the proposals. These notices are also put up On Site. After the consultation stage these notices will be updated with the latest information.

During the consultation stage the documents available will include:
- the scheme description, and
- indicative plans of the proposals.
At post-consultation stage these will be replaced by the Consultation Report and the concept design plans for you to view.
