Hospital park and ride
The Cardiff and Vale NHS Board provides a free park and ride service from Cardiff East to the University Hospital Wales, Heath.
The service is for staff, patients, and visitors attending the hospital.
There are no vehicle height restrictions.
The car park has CCTV but vehicles are left at the owner's risk.
How to get there
To find the car park, please use CF23 8HH postcode.
From the East:
- Come off at junction 29 of the M4.
- Take the second exit on the roundabout.
- Follow signs to the car park.
From the West:
- Come off at junction 30 of the M4
- Take the third exit on the first roundabout.
- Take the second exit on the second roundabout.
- Take the second exit on the third roundabout, onto the A48 heading towards the city centre.
- Take the first exit on the A48 and follow the signs to the car park.
Opening times
Monday to Friday, 6:25am to 9pm.
The car park closes soon after the last bus has arrived.
You cannot leave your car overnight at the site.
