Proposed variation
- To vary the layout of the premises in accordance with plans (drawing number 2723-10) supplied by the applicant and to update Condition 8 Annex 2 to refer to approved plans, such variation to have effect upon the completion of the works as notified to the Licensing Authority in writing. Permitted hours and licensable activities remain as existing.
- To remove a duplicated condition of the Premises Licence regarding irresponsible drinks promotions.
- To update the non-standard timings for the opening hours so that they explicitly apply to opening hours to align with existing permissions for licensable activities.
The alterations comprise:-
Ground Floor
- Reconfiguration of fixed seating as shown on the plan submitted.
First Floor
- Removal of section of fixed seating in Function/Bar area
- To remove Condition 5 Annex 2 as this is now covered by the mandatory conditions, namely:
"There will be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption".
- To update the non-standard timings under Annex 2 of the premises licence so that they explicitly apply to opening hours to align with existing permissions for licensable activities by removing the two references to the following wording "(not including drinking up time)" and replace this with "and opening hours".
If there are objections to the amendment of the non-standard timings under point 3 then the Applicant would request that that part of the application be disregarded and approval be given for the rest of the application.
