Voting if you registered as an overseas voter

To apply to vote from abroad or overseas, you must first be registered to vote. You will need to register to vote 12 working days before polling day.

If you are registered as an overseas voter, you can vote in UK Parliament elections.

You may be able to vote in referendums. Each referendum has different rules on who can vote in it.

If you are eligible, you can vote by post or proxy. You will have to make this choice when you register.
